I hope you had a productive, safe and fun summer.
We've gotten back to school, and as it has been a couple of weeks since the start of classes, I believe it is time for our first assignment!
To participate (which I recommend, particularly if you like Astronomy, as you need 7 assignments passed over the year to move onto the next grade!), you will sign up in this thread, and then you have to complete the following task by October 23:
It isn't a difficult assignment, but it may require a bit of research! I hope you enjoy. You are welcome to invite (tag) me to your stargazing, but each thread must have a minimum of two students.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Tag the Prof when you are finished your assignment!
As this is the first posted Hogwarts Assignment, I will reiterate a few key points to make it clear.
Task: Post with a buddy in the Astronomy tower, making a star chart with at least 3 constellations from the northern hemisphere in September.
Required to pass: 4 posts in the thread each
Bonus points: For finishing your chart and accurately, or for any post after the required 4.
Due: October 23rd
When complete: Tag Elias in your thread!

Students will post a thread in the Astronomy tower with a buddy. The two of them will need to identify three constellations that are in the northern hemisphere at this time of year and draw them on a chart. The chart must be labeled with at least 5 different named stars. Each student must post 4 times in the thread to pass the assignment, with bonus points for each extra post or for finishing the chart. You may not draw the chart all in one go.
