The entrance hall of the castle puts on all of the grandeur of Hogwarts. A pair of gigantic doors open onto a heavily decorated hall and a grand staircase.

The Great Hall is the feasting place of the school. Each house has its own long table reaching down the length of the hall, with a professors' table at the head of the room. The enchanted ceiling above puts on an impressive display of the weather.

The staircases at Hogwarts are magnificent, mutable, and often very confusing. The main stairs, while a handy way to get to class on time, occasionally change their position or have a trick step, so watch your feet!

The Transfiguration classroom hosts desks for pairs of students to work together at, as well as cabinets full of objects waiting to be transfigured.
