DESCRIPTION: Ava is all about looks. She considers her blonde hair and blue eyes the perfect look for a girl and her barely noticeable freckles a minor flaw to her beauty. She doesn't mind muggle clothing and only wears the most expensive brands. Somewhere in time, she had decided that she had to be the best dress. The girl loves her long locks of blonde hair and usually has it so they are free and flowing everywhere. She also carries a brush on her at all times to make sure she can get knots that can form out. 



POSITIVE TRAITS: 
+ Intelligent: Ava is a very smart girl and knows she needs to be to if she wants to be a potioneer.
+ Ambitious: Ava never lets anything hold her back. She sees what she wants and she goes for it.
+ Flirty: She loves attention and being flirty is one of the ways she gets it.
+ Strong: In more ways than one she has strength. She is both physically strong and mentally strong.
+ Caring: She doesn't exactly show it but she does have a soft spot that one can reach once they find their way past her layers.
NEGATIVE TRAITS: 
- Vague: She hates people knowing too much about her and tends to talk about family in broad terms.
- Secretive: She has no problem keeping secrets and doesn't usually like to tell anyone what she is up to.
- Super Insecure: She doesn't think very highly of herself but she is very good at hiding that from the world.
- Prejudice?: She was raised by a death eater in a pureblood household. Is this really a surprise?
- Cruel/ Harsh: She tends to never be afraid to use words to bring down those around her.
LIKES: Potions, Herbology, Pink, Tea, Astrology (Astronomy being tangled up in that), small creatures that are too cute, and boys. She's a fan of drama and gossip and doesn't mind starting some things up to keep her amused.
DISLIKES: Getting sweaty, spiders, people talking about her, mayonnaise, people who tap their fingers on the desk during class.
HOBBIES: Is potions a hobby? Destroying people's happiness and keeping hers. Getting the smarter kids to do her HoM essays. Are any of these hobbies? She was taught how to do needlepoint and finds that relaxing. She likes giving out nicknames for people. She has been in dance classes all her like and rather enjoys the activity. Even if it makes her all sweaty.

GENERAL PERSONALITY: Ava is one who much rather be feared and hated than to be liked and vulnerable. (At least that is what she is trying to convince herself.) She doesn't let many people in. The only person she has ever really let seen the side of her that cares about anything has been her brother. She was raised in a household that believed anyone, not like them were bad and taking to what she was taught has led her to say some pretty unforgivable things to others. She doesn't seem to regret those things as she has never been real close to anyone on the other side of her harsh words.

Character History: 

Ava was raised to be the perfect little girl her parents dreamed of. She was treated like a princess from day one and nothing ever changed about that until she was about ten. After the war, Ava and her siblings were taken in by her uncle and aunt. It was a shock for many reasons. The first being her Uncle Terrance had married a squib. The second was that her father wasn't an only child. Up until that point in her life, the girl had never heard of her father having any siblings. She knew her grandparents and had been to the house Eugene had grown up in but there was never a sign of another person in the family.

Each Carter child took differently to the move to their new home. Faith missed her parents dearly but took no trouble to warming up to Terance and Penelope. Brandon acted respectful and grateful but complained about them when he got the chance to do so. Ava to the switch the hardest. Her Aunt and Uncle favored Faith, no doubt about it, and ava didn't take that kindly. She did her best to ignore the new guardians and spent a lot of time in her room before Hogwarts and during the breaks while she was in school. In most occasions, her brother joined her and told her things that were going on elsewhere in te house and there were even a few times where Faith would attempt to get her sister's attention by asking to borrow old clothing. Ava gave her the cold shoulder every time. She didn't deny the clothes but she didn't express her opinion on how things looked on the youngest Carter child.

Potions wasn't always Ava's favorite class. She used to favor History. Then the lesson came where death eaters were played out to be nothing but bad. Ava didn't agree with that. Her parents weren't bad. Her Aunt andUncke were the bad ones here. She abandoned the idea history and focus her energy there. That's where potions came in. It had a rhyme and away and she liked that. And the fact that she was good at it helped a lot. Over the years Ava focused more of her energy into the class and studied more into it outside of class.
