DESCRIPTION:Mali is a small woman who stands a few inches shy of average height with long dark hair and large expressive brown eyes. It's very easy to tell what she's feeling as Mali wears her heart on her sleeve and her emotions on her face, that being said it's very rare for her to be found without a bright toothy grin.

GENERAL PERSONALITY:The phrase 'Big things come in small packages' couldn't be more true in regards to Mali. Despite her small stature she is a big and loud personality who refuses to be ignored. She laughs loudly, smiles broadly, and practically buzzes energy. Mali moves quickly, making her clumsy and prone to accidents and mistakes. She often is half a step in front of the rest of the group and is constantly in motion whether it be bouncing on the balls of her feet, tapping her fingers or dancing around to her own off key singing.

Character History:For such a bright woman, Mali got a dark start in life. She was born to a pair of working middle class muggles in the city of Kanpur, India. They loved their child very much but their lives were tragically cut short when a gas line exploded in their apartment building. Miraculously, Mali survived due to what was likely her first display of magic and was sent to live with her mother's older brother and his husband who were currently residing in London.

They raised Mali like their own, showering her with the love and affection her parents would be unable to give her. In return she gave them more than they bargained for. She was a wild spirit from the moment she could walk, scaling fences, trees, walls and going on her own little adventures. When she turned eleven a representative from Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry arrived on the family's door step and informed them that their darling daughter was indeed a witch. Mali thought this term rude and told the man so, prompting him to dazzle her with displays of magic and she fell in love with it.

From that day on, Mali sought out magic. She spent ever day leading up to her departure to Hogwarts in Diagon Alley watching the adults perform wonderful spells. When September 1st rolled around Mali hugged her dads goodbye and headed off to Hogwarts. The sorting hat found her sunny disposition perfect for Hufflepuff.

While she excelled socially, befriending most everyone she met her magical ability was middle of the range. Not dreadful but nothing special either. Her spell casting was often rushed and sloppy but when she slowed down and concentrated she was capable of a good bit of magic.

Once graduated, Mali found work as a Healer-In-Training where she interned for some time before being promoted to full Healer.
