DESCRIPTION: Ginny isn't exactly the tallest woman around. After leaving the professional quidditch league she sported heels way more often. The heels added a few inches allowed her to be a little more intimidating to those who work around her. Her orange hair is always worn down and passe her shoulder blades as it has always done pretty much all of her life. Being more of a tom-boy due to growing up with six brothers her idea of wearing makeup and act proper is a lot different then other girls. Besides putting on a light layer of cover up every once and a while for work and dressing in fancy clothes, she much more prefers t-shirts and trousers. (She really likes it when she is able to still one of harry's t-shirts as they are very comfy.)




POSITIVE TRAITS:Confident, funny, open-hearted, fierce, caring, brave, strong leader.
NEGATIVE TRAITS: Doesn't take lost easily, not afraid to fight back, has a weakness for animals, still manages to get nervous around Harry, a bit impulsive.
LIKES:Besides long walks on the beach with Harry, Ginny also likes playing random music and dancing to it as she cooks or cleans. She loves making people laugh and smile. And she'll admit she has tried to stay up and watch the sun rise many times.
DISLIKES:There are many things Ginny doesn't like. From diaries to sunburn there's a reason for each one. Somethings are things she hasn't been able to cope with since the war. She's not a big fan on fire,
HOBBIES: Quidditch, everything that is or is related to quidditch. Just flying is a lot of fun too. Whether its teasing Harry or telling him how to do things, Ginny likes to consider it a hobby of hers to do.
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Ginny is a strong girl. Growing up with six older brothers made her a lot tougher then other girls. She knew how to stand up and speak for herself. Though she was never really shy she was around Harry when she was younger but as she got older she grew out of it. Making it clearer to many that she had a strong sense of humor and was very confident with her words. Her leadership skills slowly coming out through Dumbledore's Army in her fourth year and then really shining when in her sixth year in 1997.

Character History
Ginny's earliest childhood memories were the ones where she sneak out to the broom shed and flew on her brother's brooms. As she was never allowed to play with them. Though she didn't understand at the time she now gets that her parents were just worried about her. Even if she was tougher then most girls. But she still had that shy side to her. As when she first met Harry Potter the year before she was to start attending Hogwarts she struggled to actually talk to him. 

During the unpacking of her things at Hogwarts was when she found a black leather bound book among her things, This journal, that seemed to contain nothing in it in the beginning, became something the young Ginny really clung to. When finding out that the journal would write back to her she began confiding in this Tom Riddle person. She told the journal everything about her, from her brothers teasing her to the hand me downs she came to school with, and by doing so she was unknowingly opening up her soul to Tom Riddle's soul. This making it so his soul could posses her. The diary had taken its effect on Ginny and on October 31st Tom Riddle's soul was able to control Ginny and had her release the basilisk in the chamber of secrets, resulting and the petrification of Mrs. Norris.

Due to Ginny not remembering where she was on Halloween, and the attacks following that petrified Colin Creevey and Justin Finch-Flatchley, she was starting to believe that she was the one attacking them. Thinking that the dairy had something to do with it she attempted getting rid of it in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom only to have to steal it from Harry's things when she saw him with it. This was done mostly out of fear that Harry would learn about what she had done. This action only seemed to make things go from bad to worse as Ginny was lead down to the Chamber of Secrets. She doesn't know much of what happened down there but is very aware that Harry had save her.

After a scary and very traumatizing first year of school, Ginny got a nice little break. Her and the rest of her family traveled to Egypt for part of the summer. This trip really helped to raise her spirit for the next year. As she had high hopes that the next year would be better then the last. Unfortunately the train ride to Hogwarts proved to show that that was not the case. Though being separated from her brothers cat the start of the ride she was able to find her way to Ron, Hermione, and Harry when the train ad stopped and went dark. It was when the dementers came by that her memories of the last year were brought back to life. A very shaken and teary eyed Ginny was comforted by Hermione, someone she was beginning to like very much.

The next summer was another exciting one for Ginny. As her, Harry, Hermione, Ron and a few more members of her family were attending the Quidditch World Cup. It was the time before and during the Cup that she got to spend with Hermione that really made their friendship grow. Hermione was the one that helped Ginny become a lot more relaxed around Harry. She also knew about her interest in Harry (Like it wasn't obvious or something.) But the ending of the trip was sadly taken over by Deatheaters. Making this a memory both happy and a bit terrifying to remember.

Back at Hogwarts Ginny was excited about the Triwizard Tournament until it turned in to the Quadwizard Tournament. Besides the fact that Harry is, well, Harry, she routed fir her brother's best friend the whole time. She wanted him to win because in her mind, if Harry won the Tournament then it meant he lived. (Not that she was hoping for the death of any of the champions.) When it came time for the Yule Ball Ginny had no way of going unless she was asked by an upperclassman. She really wanted that person to be Harry but she remembered what Hermione had told her about trying to see other people and just be friends with Harry for now. So, when asked by Neville Longbotom. It was at the ball that Ginny met her first boyfriend, Micheal Conner.

With the Dark Lord back, Ginny's parents membership in the Order of Phoenix became active once again. This made her family relocate to 12 Grimmauld Place after her third year. There Ginny was once again sharing a room and spending a lot of time with Hermione. The two both helped Mrs. Weasley with the cleaning up of the place, as Sirius didn't seem to do much while he was there. This is also when Ginny learns of Harry's Godfather's innocence.

Ginny's fourth year was a rough one. Besides having the devil herself taking control of the school. Her father was attacked before Christmas. Though she was thankfully Harry had seen a vision of it through his connection with Voldemort, she knew that he felt as if he had done it. Unfortunately, Ginny knew what it was like to be possessed by Voldemort and was able to talk about it with him. Later in that school year part of the DA was brought to the Ministry of Magic where they fought against a group of deatheaters and Voldemort along side members of the Order of the Phoenix. 

The only exciting thing to happen in Ginny's fifth year was right after Gryffindor won the match against Ravenclaw. Harry had returned to everyone celebrating the victory after his detention. Ginny had ran up to Harry and hugged him. It was then Harry Kissed her, which -shockingly for them- didn't have the awkward fidgeting before hand. She was happy that Ron was okay with the relationship, considering that most older brothers wouldn't of been okay with a similar situation. 

Everyone knows what happened on May 2nd, 1998. There is no need to go into detail. Ginny's family made it out but so many great people were lost. Those who died too young and some who you thought would never go down. It would be a day impossible for anyone to forget. For though the resulting the day was good. All the lose will never leave. 

After the war Ginny doubled up on things in her life. She was out helping the Order with what the needed her for and spending the rest of her time out on the quidditch pitch where she played for the Holyhead Harpies. Though professional Quidditch was short lived as she became injured in her first season. While out for most of the season she took up a job at the profit and assisted with the Quidditch section of the prophet. She continued this job into the next season until she was the senior correspondent for the paper. it was only a year ago that she took up the job of Quidditch referee for Hogwarts and made sure to cover their games in the prophet for an added part in the quidditch off season. Something she learned many parents enjoyed seeing.

Only weeks before the one year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts Ginny lost her brother Percy. Losing her brother was hard on her but thankfully Harry was there and helped her through the lost. When a year after the Battle of Hogwarts rolled around the younger generation of the Order of Phoenix agreed to separate their paths and work on the plans they had made for themselves before the war. Ginny dove her self into her work at the prophet and even started throwing together a recreation quidditch group so she could still play, even with her shoulder still hurting if she threw the quaffle to hard. During this time she rarely Hermione, Luna, Neville, and Harry. But she was overjoyed to see all of them when the holidays rolled around. She spent the most time with Harry though. they had plenty to talk about and when the talking was done things moved forward. The two finally got together and have been happily dating since.
