OOC info: This actually takes place in one of the changing rooms located at the pitch. It's of a random house Toby didn't check which one he entered. This to give your character more reason to be there (or just because they heard noises or needed a place to shelter from the rain like Toby). It is a boys changing room but I assume girls could enter too taking the same rules as the dorms.
The weather wasn’t all that great. Not terrible but bad enough for most students to decide to stay inside. Tobias had used the opportunity to got to the Quidditch pit. Now Tobias was no Quidditch played. The last time he had been on a broom was in his first year. Neither did he own a broom. What he did have was a beater bat and not just any. It was signed by THE Alec Wayland; the professional Quidditch player admired. While he had kept the bat safe, his hands inched to use it. So he had come here to try this out for once. He’d taken a broom and bludger from the storage used to store lesson items. He felt both nervous and excited, hopefully nobody would see him that’d be embarrassing. He just… wanted to try this for once. Then never again.
First he needed to practice flying again before he even attempted to try a swing. When he did get to that point he wasn’t as successful as he had hoped. The bludger was wild and his his shoulder and later his broom before he managed to finally land a good hit. Even with a hurt shoulder he continued because he got the feeling he was starting to get the hang of it. Of course he was still very much an amature but he enjoyed doing this. Sadly it didn’t last long because the weather was worsening. What were tiny spats of rain turned into almost buckets of water falling out the sky. Within a few seconds Toby was soaked. When the lightning came, he knew it was better to hide. It was cold the temperature was close to freezing point and he was simply dressed in his school uniform.
It took longer than he had hoped before he could get inside. The bludger needed to get back inside the safety box chained and all. By the time he found shelter in one of the random changing rooms (he didn’t know which house but assumed it was a boys dressing room since he could enter without a magic barrier stopping him) he was sure one could fill a swimming pool from the water that was sucked by his clothes. The whole package was heavy and ice cold.
The young lion was shaking as he put the quidditch items down. His fingers that had turned white were now painfully glowing now he was out of the streaming rain. Gazing outside he realized he was stuck in here for a while. Perhaps he should look for some dry clothes. They often kept spare school and quidditch uniforms around here. At least he should take off his own sticky cold clothes and warm up in the shower while they dried. He assumed nobody was coming here anyways so he felt safe enough to make this decision.
He had found some towels. One of which he had hung over his head and the other wrapped around his waist. A warm shower should get him back on temperature. As he passed the mirror in the shower place, his eyes fell on his shoulder that had been hit by the bludger. A big bruise was already forming but it was nothing compared to the other scars on his body. Scars were everywhere, ugly scars which he hated. His entire upper body was covered in them. The big bite mark on his waist was the most notable. Others were mostly claw marks. The only other bitemarks were on his arms and legs, his own wolf had caused those. They were the reason he never worse short sleeved shirts or shorts ever. He should be grateful his face was spared from scarring at least he could have hid his condition until now.
His clothes were hung out, Toby sighed as he watched over them. If only he could perform the drying and warming charm. Did he even take his wand with him? He hadn’t checked, maybe he should. Toby turned the shower off which he actually just opened to check his pockets for his wand but what he found was not his wand. Someone else was standing right there. Panic snapped within the werewolf. He had been so lost in his own moment that he never thought someone else could come here. Toby gasped and pulled the towel from his head to shield his chest which was probably already too late. The scars were so obvious one only needed a second to notice. His entire head turned red in embarrassment. He was ashamed of his scars and what they made him. Nobody should see them. “What the bloody hell are you doing here?!” The boy shouted trying to sound angry instead of scared and panicked. Toby knew he shouldn’t be here either but that point didn’t matter to him. Nor did it matter that his person was probably as soaked as he had been. His scars had been seen! Not even Hayden had seen them. “Get lost!”
