Today was the day, and now was the time. After a rather long detour, it was finally Daisy's turn to get her wand! After meeting back up with her sister, the twins had to return to the big wizarding bank to convert some more of their mum's Muggle money into big, shiny wizarding coins - turns out, they didn't do the math right. It was a lot harder than it sounded. But they got it worked out - or rather Rose did, talking to the goblins while Daisy hid halfway behind her - and back to the wand shop they went.
The whole way there and back, Daisy was mainly occupied with Rose's wand. Neither of them could do anything with it, not yet, but it was just so absolutely fascinating. Just to hold it and feel it felt magical. The twins passed it back and forth between themselves until they reentered the wand shop, wherein Daisy shoved her sister's wand back into the girl's hand and promptly approached the counter. Well...right behind Rose herself, of course.
It was time! She reached up and rang the bell for service, anxiously awaiting the shopkeeper to reappear. While she waited, she looked all around her at the maze of shelves and boxes. She wondered - would she get the same wand as Rose, since they were twins? She frowned slightly at the thought. She loved her sister, but she would be rather disappointed if she was just handed a copy of Rose's wand and didn't get to go through the whole process herself. Most times, Daisy was happy to follow her sister, but this was something she wanted for her own. They weren't exactly alike, after all.
