Her long blue coat kept her safe from the elements, with her wand held tightly in her left hand Rosalie stepped softly through the streets. Night masked her movements almost as well as the softly whispered spell which made her footprints disappear from the snow, stealth was a strong point and while she hardly looked the most inconspicuous figure but Rosalie knew she couldn’t be to careful.
This night in particular she was following up on a lead – an anonymous tip off sent via a very shaky owl detailing some very suspicious activity. Naturally the auror office were dubious – reports came in everyday and only a quarter of them ever lead anywhere. However they had no choice but to follow up every piece of information, so with that in mind Rose had been dispatched. Her anxiety told her it was due to her new status as an auror as to why they were sending her on a wild goose chase – though the rational part of her brain advised it was to do with the strain on resources.
Quietly she stepped across the frozen cobbles of the old village street. Eyes peeled for any trace of dark magic. A noise - quick footsteps drew her from her thoughts, quickening her steps she melted into the shadows of the alley, ready to investigate.
@keegan Hope you don't mind I started with Keegan.

Between every big scene, the actors needed a break. A short one, to be sure, but a break all the same. After their grand reintroduction at the London Eye some months ago, the Death Eaters had taken back to the shadows for the several months after. And after their most recent foray into the kidnapping of highly visible peoples...they deigned to take a month or so. It was less out of fear and more of an intimidation tactic. If you let them think you're gone for good this time...the shock of your return adds a paralyzing edge to their fear.
In the mean time, the Death Eaters had other...means of terror. Beasts and creatures to do their work for them. Hell, even the Ministry (even the part that wasn't so obviously corrupted by Dark influence) was putting in work to make the world a terrible place again. The Death Eaters hardly had to do anything at all.
Well...the Death Eaters like Keegan, that is. The clever and cunning ones were undoubtedly hard at work, always, whispering and suggesting and controlling. Keegan wasn't capable of a whisper, and he couldn't even control himself let alone anything else. There wasn't much for a man of cannon fodder to do at the moment - and this left Keegan very, very bored. And a bored Keegan was far more dangerous than a Keegan hard at work.
Everything Keegan did, he did for fun. He did it because he wanted to, not for any moral or cause. This was true of his service with the Death Eaters, and it was definitely true of how he spent the rest of his time. When his 'fun' got to be a bit too much for his colleagues, they chased him off for a few days with hexes and threats. No problem - Keegan could have fun anywhere.
For the past few days, he'd chosen Ottery St. Catchpole for that fun. He stalked the shadows of the sleepy little village, terrorizing and taunting and always disappearing before too many people caught on.
Tonight was an especially quiet night. Keegan was crouched in the mouth of the alley, contemplating if he'd gotten bored enough of this place already to move on. No one was out - except, oh look there. A young little lady all by her lonesome coming right down the street. Keegan grinned and stood up, hurrying backward into the darkness of the alley. The alley which his new friend stepped right into.
Keegan pressed himself against the wall as the woman stepped into the alley right next to him. He grabbed her around the shoulders from behind her, hoping for the element of surprise and completely oblivious to the wand in her hand. Muggle, witch, didn't matter to Keegan. He pulled her to him, hoping to hurt her with his grip. "Hello sweetheart. Looking for a friend?"

Rosalie froze as a tight grip forced her backwards ignoring the pain that resonated across her shoulder - it would bruise later. She kept her lips pursed her expression stony refusing to let her fear show. Stay calm, she told herself don’t jump to conclusions – for all she knew it could have been innocent? That thought was instantly discarded.
“Take your hands off of me.” Said Rosalie keeping her tone steady and steely- she’d been trained to handle situations like this ignoring the rising anxiety her mind recounted the situational exercises she’d once been taught, ready to put them into practice.
Whipping around to face her assailant she kept her eyes trained on the man. He was taller than her, with long tendrils of curly dark her. His face was gaunt and the unnatural smirk on his lips made her stomach turn. He seemed familiar and yet she couldn’t place where she’d seen him before. If he was a wizard – perhaps they’d crossed paths at school?
“State your business?” she said eyes narrowing as she scrutinized the man her hands gripped the wand in her pocket. She didn’t want to reveal it yet, oblivious was a handy curse but she preferred to avoid trouble. “Or do you just enjoy grabbing young women.?” She quipped.

Huh. Usually, that was all it took to make them start the screaming - coming up from the shadows, grabbing from out of nowhere. Or if not screaming, at the very least, begging. This one did neither. Keegan felt the woman tense up beneath his grip, but instead of screaming or begging or crying or struggling or something, she made a demand of him. Calm and cool like he'd just stepped in her way or something. How rude. Keegan liked when they fought back, sure, but he liked his unpleasantness to at least be acknowledged.
Well. He would just have to work harder, wouldn't he? That wasn't so bad. Keegan rested his head on the woman's shoulder, his grimy breath right next to her ear. "What if I don't want to?" He asked, petulant. And then the woman was spinning around on him, facing him, eliciting a...barking laugh from Keegan. Sure, he was right annoyed with this plucky woman, but Keegan wasn't all right in the head - so he laughed. It was harsh and hoarse and not at all full of mirth.
"You're bossy." Keegan kept a hand on the woman's shoulder even as she was turned around. Again she drew an unnatural reaction from him - her question made him grin with his full, terrible smile. "I absolutely do, love. And usually they're polite enough to shut up about it." Keegan's hand flew to the woman's face and grasped hard at her chin. Then he jerked, with every intention of throwing the woman to the ground and clamoring to kick her in the side.

Rosalie’s ‘bossiness’ as he called it seemed to displease him. Good.
She winced at the tight grip on her shoulder, she kept her lips pursed no inkling of the pain escaped her lips Rosalie would not give the creep the satisfaction of knowing he’d hurt her. Every move he’d made so far indicated that the wretch would thrive on that knowledge. She would deny him that pleasure. Instead she smirked her nose wrinkling as her deep brown eyes took in his appearance. “Pity I’ve never been polite,” she spat back.
She hit the ground with a loud thud and was all but ready to jump up fists raised had it not been for the sudden kick to the side – she felt the breath leave her body as hit the floor again the cold snow melting into her cloak. Oh god, part of her wanted to run away, dissapparate before he could hit her again but a stronger and much angrier part of her embraced the challenge. She couldn’t leave this creep on the streets he was too dangerous, clearly a loose cannon who didn’t seem to care who he attacked.
“You think that hurt?” she laughed, “Geez you’re really pathetic, who are you anyway?” she demanded “do I get to learn my attackers name or is mystery your thing?” She asked using air quotations. Before he had chance to respond Rosalie aimed a kick of her own to his shin before she pulled herself up from the ground throwing her back to the wall her eyes darted to the entrance of the alley as she stumbled forward hand gripped to her side ignoring the searing pain.

"Oh, I like that, too," Keegan laughed in her face at her retort. Feisty was good, indeed. Ultimately, Keegan liked having control - that's why he always went after people smaller than him, so he could get both a fight and a win out of them. The small ones had, of course, shown him time and time again how utterly stupid he was thinking he could beat them all down just by being bigger than him - but Keegan never was much of a learner. Sometimes getting the shit kicked out of him was part of the fun.
He was starting to get a little confused with this one, though. "Well, it was supposed to. Should I try again?" She was easy enough to toss around, but she wasn't crying out like the rest of the weak little ones day. She certainly owed him at least that much if she wasn't going to fight back. Keegan frowned his discontent, looming over her and considering her when she began to laugh. He laughed, too, spreading his mouth wide in a grimy grin like he was posing for a photograph. "I'm surprised you don't recognize me, love. Might've seen my picture a time or two." Contrary to what his general stupidity would deem, Keegan didn't often go around flashing his Death Eater status all that often. Not when he was alone, at least. But if this girl wasn't responding to his usual taunts, or his physical threats, maybe a little good old-fashioned wartime trauma would do her good. Besides...he wasn't putting himself at that much risk. Keegan was never one of the big time Death Eaters; she'd only recognize him if she was an Auror, or something...
Whatever she was, she had a mighty kick. The girl returned the favor while he was talking, kicking him right in the shin and sending them into a dance, Keegan falling and the girl getting up. She was against the wall and he was on the ground, cursing and rubbing at the tender spot on his leg, glaring at her stumbling form. "Cheap shot! Not fair! You're a sore loser if you run away after that!" Keegan didn't care. Keegan fought dirty all the time. But he wasn't ready for his new friend to leave yet; they'd only just met. He picked up a loose piece of brick and chucked it at her as hard as he could.

Of course how could she have been so blind, that smirk, the tendrils of soot black hair. This was Keegan Kearney and she was in a lot of trouble. Death eater scum, his picture had been plastered across the ministry lost in a sea of posters all detailing the identities of his fellow miscreants. Her teeth nibbled her bottom lip nervously as she hurried down the slippery cobbled path eager to reach the mouth of the alleyway – for all she knew he had friends with him and Rosalie couldn’t take on anymore death eaters.
She smirked at his cries, better a cheap shot then no shot at all she thought as she reached for the wand inside her pocket. Grasping it firmly she moved to turn back only to gasp as something collided painfully with the back of her head. All at once her vision began to grey as the dizziness set in. She tumbled to the ground and landed with a hard thud as her long black hair messily sprawled out beneath her matting with the blood that dribbled from the head wound. She crawled forward and grabbed at her wand.
“You asshole,” she growled through gritted teeth, “Impedimenta!” she shouted into the alley way aiming the spell downwards – hoping to slow her attacker down if only for a moment. She flopped onto her back wand raised, refusing to give in – cuts and bruises could be healed but she needed to arrest him before he damaged anybody else. She needed to catch him off guard – taunt him until he lost his patience then go in for the kill.
“Is that all you’ve got left – resorting to bricks? You’re just like a common muggle criminal.” She taunted “I’m not afraid of you Keegan Kearney.” Said Rosalie as she stood up using the wall as a guide wand raised high.
“You’re coming back to the ministry with me by order of the Auror office.” She
