Hostile

Gabriel was an Auror, not a Healer. As an Auror, he often got himself into duels that left him injured and while he was no Healer, he knew enough to repair minor spell damage himself. He kept a small stash of generic Healing potions and pastes in his medicine cabinet at home. Nothing major, just enough to avoid visiting the hospital on a weekly basis. Gabriel was even capable of brewing his own wound cleaning potion, but he preferred to buy it at the apothecary and he was doing just that this evening. A recent spat with some guy in Knockturn Alley managed to deplete his supplies and he made a quick pop off to Slug and Jiggers to stock up. He was fairly distracted through the whole errand. His mind had been elsewhere for weeks, most often off with the muggles which made it difficult to focus. He and Remus discovered that the muggles weren't working alone, and that was deeply troubling.
Gabriel exited the apothecary, vials of potions clinking in the pockets of his jacket, when he nearly collided with someone he knew was collaborating with his enemy. The tall blonde auror was half a foot step from walking straight into the shorter, younger girl but he managed to tune back into the present at the last moment, stopping short infront of her instead and blocking her path. Part of him wanted to jump instantly into hostility because anyone who aided and abetted his enemy was an enemy themselves but she was so young and practically harmless that he couldn't quite bring himself to do it. Plus he was hoping keeping a cordial relationship with Cassidy would eventually lead to some sort of lead or new information regarding the muggles.
So with those interests in mind, Gabriel greeted Cassidy with a raise of his eyesbrows and an amused grin. "Hello, Cassidy." He took a step back but was still firmly in her way. "You're not running off to hex poor innocent wizards in dark alleys again, are you?" The investigation with Remus had hit a lull and he was going to charm information out of the former Slytherin to jump start it again, so help him Merlin. Besides, Gabriel had gotten the idea that maybe she was being coerced into it, Cassidy seemed like an alright person after all, and if that was the case then surely she would need his help.
