DESCRIPTION:Lotus is a very strong, rather secretive young lady. Others may see her as closed off (and sometimes rude) until they get to know her, but they soon come around to her loving, loyal nature. Except when she’s had a few; then she’s well out there! When younger she experimented with new hair styles, but all who know her know now (and are relieved to hear) that she has decided to stick with the hair she’s got. For now. She is of an average height (she thinks, and that’s what she’s sticking to!), and has slightly slouched posture. As the resident clutz, her body has many scars (and also some from adventures of youth!)

GENERAL PERSONALITY: Lotus is a brave and stubborn girl, loyal and independent, but also rather hot headed. This and her argumentative nature means she can get into some rather heated ‘debates’ with people around her. Even though she’s training as an auror, she is terrible at taking orders (not to mention wandering attention), so she does need to work on that before she’s sent out into the big bad world. She enjoys reading and painting when she’s in her right mind, but give her a few drinks and she’ll be tearing up the dance floor. She’s normally quite quiet, but becomes a full blown extrovert when tipsy.

Character History: Lotus was born 25th March, 1988 to the muggles David and Lola Greenwood. Her first bout of accidental magic occurred when she was four years old, when she levitated her favourite teddy bear from the toy box half way across the room, before losing interest and abandoning it. Her parents were thrilled when, in 1999, she was accepted in to Hogwarts and the Wizarding world, though they were more reluctant when they learnt of the trouble that plagued the Wizarding world. They relented when Lotus insisted.“This is my world, how can I live anywhere else now I’ve found where I’m meant to be?”

Though Lotus was sorted into Gryffindor, she was horrified at the treatment of the Slytherins when she joined. She was much relieved when the Headmistress moved to aid the inter-house unity, as she had feared no such thing should ever have been achieved. Though the team she joined didn’t do very well, she very much enjoyed the tournament.

The continued violence did scare her, but she, as a young confident Gryffindor girl, didn’t show it and ‘knew’ it’d be ok. In the aftermath of Yaxley’s trial, Lotus decided exactly what her life’s purpose was – to be an auror. That was all she wanted, to help clear up the Death Eater mess. She was slightly suspicious when the new mister was elected… but she’s sure it’s nothing.
Upon leaving Hogwarts, Lotus became an auror-in-traing, and loves every moment of it, though she longs for the day she’s a real field agent.

Amortentia: Fresh baked cookies – Just like mama used to make! It reminds her of home and safety, and she always loved them - especially chocolate ones!

Roses – The epitome of romance, and also her favourite flower. She loves the fact they have all different colours.

Lotus was ecstatic. She was finally an auror-in-training! She was well on her way to achieving her dream, her lifetime ambition. Beyond happy, she almost skipped down Diagon Alley. Joyous and excitable, she was ready to let lose a little, celebrate a bit. Of course, she didn’t really have the money to go out on the town – not yet. She’d not really started work yet, only barely. So it was a home celebration, some booze and dancing. Get some friends round… oh yeah. “Need to get some friends first.”So no booze or dancing (because if you do that alone it’s just sad.)So how on earth was she to celebrate?
Perhaps she should, oh she didn’t know, paint a celebratory painting. She did love to paint; her room was decorated with the hippogriffs and phoenixes that she had brought to life with her brush, and the flowers she had brought to bloom upon the canvas. Portraits too, of herself and parents. But enough of that, she had to do something! It wasn’t like she could do what some people she knew did, go and get a boyfriend or girlfriend. She didn’t like that, she didn’t swing either way.
She continued walking, trying to think.
Two hours later, she had decided. She was having a kip on the sofa.
