DESCRIPTION:Elizabeth is tall, but she doesn't mind, and she walks with a straight back and her head held high. She's confident, and her stature, though tall, doesn't seem to place her above others or make her appear haughty. In fact, people tend to gravitate to her, and her general appearance is very approachable. Her sense of fashion is very debatable, she likes bright colours and has a tendancy to mix shades that don't at all compliment each other. She's also very rarely found out of her favourite sneakers that are rather worn from overuse. When she concentrates, the tip of her tongue tends to protrude from the corner of her mouth and she scrunches up her nose. She can't deal with compliments, and her cheeks flush when she receives one - in fact, her blush is a very easy thing to conjure. She constantly needs to be doing something, and if she sits down to watch a muggle movie with friends or to listen to a Professor, her leg jiggles distractedly and she often chews on the end of her quill. Elizabeth's laugh is absolutely contagious - loud and tinkly and adorable, and it's very hard not to laugh when she does. Similarly, her smile works the same way, and never fails to light up the darkest of rooms.

NEGATIVE TRAITS: Extremely impatient, can be cocky, can't sit still, can't concentrate effectively in class, leaves homework until the last minute, sucks at this thing people call "fashion", no patience for 'silly subjects' including Divination and Herbology, clumsy, she can take joking remarks to heart, being a literal person, she almost always prioritises Quidditch over school, and she despises being told what to do.

GENERAL PERSONALITY: Elizabeth has a bright, bubbly and magnetic personality. She loves to make friends, and having fun is her number one goal in life. She is confident in herself, and in others, and constantly looking to improve herself and give others advice. Pranks aren't her favourite thing, but she does enjoy a good one, and might pull the occasional one with a good friend as an accomplice. She would never act maliciously, and avoids saying things that might cause offence as much as possible. Elizabeth is a little clumsy, but she makes the best of it, always the first to laugh at her own shortcomings before working to improve them. Once she's made a friend, she is loyal 'til the end, and betrayal from a close friend would pretty much kill her. Liza is always there as a shoulder to lean on, for her friends and any around her. She's an absolute sucker for the underdog, and is very optimistic - Liza loves to see the best side of everything and everyone. Extremely serious about Quidditch, she is often talking about flying and games and seeking and general Quidditch-y stuff.

Character History: Elizabeth's mother never knew her parents.  Fiona was abandoned when she was born, at a Wizarding Orphanage in Ireland.  She grew up in the care of the Irish orphanage, and was given a common last name. When Fiona was nine, her orphanage was closed, and rather than going to a muggle orphanage, she was transferred to another Wizarding Orphanage - this time in France. She attended Beauxbatons for her Wizarding Education, and was a very intelligent woman, achieving exceedingly high marks. During her time at school, her best friend was a girl named Ivy Noel, though they don't see each other often anymore, despite her being the children's Godmother. Her daughter, Isolde, now lives in England and maintains a strong friendship with Elizabeth's older sister, Lyra. After Graduation, Fiona took up a job in Muggle society as an orphanage psychologist, helping children cope with their abandonment. It was here that she met the girls' father, who owned several orphanages around. She later joined the Order of the Phoenix through Avellino.

Elizabeth's father grew up in France, though his family spoke predominantly English. When he and his twin sister, Alicia, were nearly eleven, the family discovered that the pair were magical. They received an invitation to both Beauxbatons and Hogwarts, living on the very edge of France, and opted for the latter. They were both sorted into Gryffindor House, and made several strong friendships which carried on after school. The most prominent of Avellino's was Frank Longbottom, who was later to become both of his children's Godfather, although he was in St. Mungo's by the time Elizabeth was born. Their family was a wealthy family of Muggles, and when Alicia and Avellino graduated, he could afford to help children from his pocket, and in his early twenties established several orphanages throughout both England and France. Through his friends at Hogwarts, the two of them also joined The Order of the Phoenix. It was at one of his French orphanages that he met Fiona. 

Fiona and Avellino were married in 1975, and bought a house in a small rural town west of London, where they had their first child, Lyra, in late 1980. They later had Elizabeth in December of 1985. The family lived happily, and Avellino took up an administrative job at the ministry. However, being a muggleborn, he was forced to drop this job and disappear with Fiona into hiding in Ireland - though Lyra was at school in Hogwarts by this time. 

Lyra received her Hogwarts letter in 1991, and for Elizabeth, it was a source of both great excitement and great sadness. She was very attached to Lyra, and hated to see her older sister leave. There was a great deal of tears at Kings Cross Station on the first of September, 1992. Her sister's schooling held many exciting events - so much so that by the time Elizabeth arrived for her first year, Hogwarts was no longer the wonderful castle of dreams. There were two twin professors that both she and Lyra hated with all their being. One taught them muggle studies - all about how foul muggles and muggleborns were. With Avellino being muggleborn, the two despised the class. The other twin taught the students the Dark Arts. Liza hated that class even more than she hated muggle studies. Several times, she and some of her fellow first years were tortured in class by the seventh years under the instruction of Carrow. It wasn't a good start for her schooling, and the end of the year was worse. She also took the brunt of her sister's punishment a few times, something which finally brought her sister's trouble to a halt. By the time of the battle of Hogwarts began, she hand her sisters were almost entirely permanent residents of the room of requirements.

When the Battle of Hogwarts began, the first years were ushered out of the school to safety. Elizabeth managed to escape the herding, and found her sister. Her sister wasn't quite as happy to see her as Elizabeth might have expected. They spoke briefly, but Liza was sent off again, much to her chagrin. She went back to where the final first years were being evacuated, fully intending on doing what her sister told her. But upon the sight of all of them leaving, she panicked. Liza hid herself in her commonroom, under her bed, shaking at hearing the noise of the battle. People came looking, and found her. They carried the uninjured but very shaken first year down to her sister in the hall, where she discovered that her father and her aunt were dead. Elizabeth barely noticed anyone but her sister, keeping herself as close as she could to the older girl.

Despite all that had happened there, Liza went back, and came to love the stone walls of the great castle. She got most of her OWLs, but her Divination was a T, and she dropped it last year. This year she's trying to work towards high marks so that she can get into a career as an auror, just like her sister - or maybe healing (Although she's not sure how that's going to go, Quidditch tends to take up more time than she expects, and studying is boring).
