Cassabelle had a little secret - she was a huge fan of the game of Gobstones. More than she let on really, one could even call her obsessed. Sometimes it even rivaled her love for Quidditch - times like her monthly meetings with the Official Gobstones Club and their all-day competitions. No one could EVER know this secret, the tabloids would have a bloody heart attack over the young, hip captain of the Cannons loving such a nerdy game (that's what her mum told her anyway, and as much as she hated it her mother did tend to have an eye for this sort of thing), so Cass attended these competitions in her very best disguise. One of her mum's scarves wrapped around her head, big sunglasses on her face, and a conspicuous lack of Cannons orange from her attire. She made it work as her color, darn it.
Of course, once she got to the spare meeting room where such all-important competitions were held, all disguises were off. Cass was recognizable to her opponents, but no one had outed her yet. She assumed it was because she usually beat the pants off of them all and they were too busy crying about it to do anything in retaliation. Cass was a bit more vicious in Gobstones than Quidditch, mostly because she felt she had more freedom to do so. No one was reporting on the International Gobstones League like they were the Quidditch leagues, so Cass didn't have to watch her mouth nearly as much.
Cass was warming up with a game of Snake Pit. Her partner, a large bloke with a red face, was gearing up for his shot and Cass watched him carefully. When he threw his Gobstone, he put a bounce into it, causing it to hop over the Snake Pit onto her side of the board. Cass watched it roll toward her as tension set in her jaw. That cheater! That move was clearly illegal, as outlined in the Official Rules of Gobstones, Subsection 4. "I don't think that's how it's supposed to be used," Cass said, her voice a little louder than intended because man, did she want to wipe that smug look off the bloke's face. "That move's illegal!" The red-faced man quickly came to his own defense, and pretty soon, all eyes were on Cass and partner as they reached yelling volume.
