Here's a handy list, in chronological order, of all the site events that have taken place in concurrence with the site plot! This list is very much a WIP.
July 11th, 2003: Secrets Don't Make Friends - The plot to assassinate Julius Stark, Chief of the Wizengamot; because he is not allowing the corruption legislation that others want to pass.
July 12th, 2003: The Tell-Tale Heart - First assassination attempt on Stark, lands him in St. Mungo's.
July 12th, 2003: Wicked - At the same time the attempt on Stark's life is happening, the Death Eaters stage a distraction in London by bringing down the London Eye. Many are killed, Muggles and wizardkind alike. Some Muggles are left suspicious though the event is largely wiped from Muggle memory.
July 14th, 2003: Coda - Second attempt on Stark's life, this one successful. Also an attack on St. Mungo's itself, leaving more dead.
July 14th, 2003: Diminuendo - Aftermath of the attack on St. Mungo's.
August 12th, 2003: Howl - Werewolves, some cognizant of what they are doing, plan and execute an attack on the village of Godric's Hollow with the hlpe of mysterious benefactors. Many are left dead.
August 12th, 2003: Licking Our Wounds - Aftermath of the Godric's Hollow attack, taking place in the hospital where many survivors discover they have turned into werewolves.
August 16th, 2003: Back to September - A back to school event arranged by Headmistress of Hogwarts Minerva McGonagall goes horribly wrong. Somehow, dementors find their way into Diagon Alley in what appears to be a planned attack, leaving some victims soulless and others very sad.
August 16th, 2003: Hot Chocolate - Aftermath of the Diagon Alley attack, taking place in Gringott's where a triage point is set up to care for those affected by the dementors.
August 21st, 2003: Opulence - Days after the brutal attacks marking the summer, the Minister for Magic Margaret Bennett holds a gala, inviting the public to hear her announce new legislation regarding creatures.
August 22nd, 2003: Say Yes to the Press - On August 18th, vampires attacked a nightclub in Belgium, killing 90 people including 3/4ths of the band the Pumpkings. The surviving member, Bran O'Reilly, returns to England and holds a press conference on the incident.
September 1, 2003: Hogwarts begins! Students new and old are welcomed to Hogwarts with great cheer.
September 5, 2003: The Creature Registration Act is created by the Ministry. It includes things such as werewolf registration, Veela verification, and a ban on vampires and hags feeding from anyone without their permission. Article here.
September 17, 2003: Racket - A Creature Rights protest is held in Diagon Alley, with both pro- and anti-creature sides represented. Unfortunately, fighting breaks out among the protestors and the Ministry is forced to intervene.
September 18, 2003: The Ministry announces the creation of a new department to deal "strictly but fairly" with creatures that do not comply with the recently released legislation. Article here.
September 23, 2003: Challenge the Pros - Professional UK Quidditch teams unite for a Quidditch event wherein amateur Quidditch players could challenge their favourite players.
October 10, 2003: On the night of the full moon, the Lupin household was attacked. Nymphadora "Tonks" Lupin was tragically killed in her own home, while Remus was locked in a safe room undergoing his own transformation. Article here.
October 16, 2003: Puddlemere VS the Cannons - When a number of players from both Puddlemere and the Cannons were ill, some minor celebrities stepped up to fill the spots!
October 19, 2003: In Memoriam - A wandlight memorial was held in the Ministry for Nymphadora Tonks, to honour her memory and protest the Ministry's treatment of magical beings.
October 29, 2003: The Halloween Festival - A group of Trolls were mysteriously transported to Hogsmeade in the middle of their All Hallow festival. They wrought much havoc on the festive little village before they were subdued and transported back to their natural habitat.
October 31, 2003: Tricks & Treats - Hogwarts holds a Halloween masquerade and feast for its students.
