DESCRIPTION:The first thing someone would notice when looking at Jas is her unruly mass of curls. She's often fidgeting with them and trying to get them to fall just right. Like most teenagers she's insecure about her appearance, feeling like her nose is a little too big or she's too gangly. Her limbs are a little long, contributing to a slightly awkward look. Despite her discomfort with her appearance she often wears a welcoming smile, crinkling dark brown eyes up at the corner

GENERAL PERSONALITY: Jasmine likes to stand out. She wants to be the best and will work hard for it, though never quite achieving it. This is a sore spot with her and she doesn't take kindly to criticism, often responding to it with biting sarcasm or sass. That being said she's a chatty, warm person who values her friends and holds them close. She has a strong sense of right and wrong and acts almost exclusively within those parameters and expects her friends to do the same, holding them to the same high standards she holds herself. While critical, she's supportive and will do anything to help a friend achieve their full potential.

Character History: The meeting of Violet and Reed was serendipity. After spending a day of shopping, absent minded Violet lost control of her buggy in the parking lot. A gust of wind sent it careening into Reed's brand new company car. They exchanged information, Violet promising to pay for the damage and they went on their way. Later, Reed found that he couldn't get Violet's charming wide smile or infectious laugh off his mind and called her up that night. They went on a date two days later and found that they complimented each other's personalities very well. They never married, but are very dedicated and in love.

They moved together to a small coastal town where Violet opened up her own flower shop and Reed quit his job to manage the new family business. Three years later their first child, Jasmine was born. The apple of her parents eyes, Jasmine enjoyed being the center of attention and was devastated to learn it wouldn't be that way forever when their family grew by two.

Rose and Daisy required a lot of their parents time and Jasmine found herself falling into the background. She decided to gain back some of the attention she lost that she had to stand out and shine and worked hard to be special. At age eleven a strange woman in strange clothes delivered even stranger but wonderful news. She wasn't ordinary, quite the contrary. She was a witch, and able to do magic.

The very next weekend the entire family took a trip to London to visit Diagon Alley. Jasmine was immediately with all things magic, finding it dazzling and exciting. On September 1st sh shipped off on the Hogwarts Express to begin her magical education. The first few months were hard, having never been away from her family but she loved every moment of it. Jasmine got good marks, not top of the class but close. It doesn't come easy to her and she has to study hard for those marks and can be a little resentful of those Ravenclaws who excel at every subject without having to work for it.

Jasmine loved the game of Quidditch from the moment she saw her very first match. In her third year she made the house team, discovering she had a natural knack for the sport and was good on a broom. She lives and breathes the sport now, academics taking a back seat to matches and practices.

The recent events of the wizarding world make her nervous, hearing stories about Death Eaters and their ideals. It makes her worry for herself and her family, being muggleborn.
