So that Homenum Revelio has boards that are widely used and appeal to all, people can suggest new shops here. Instead of purchasing a shop for your character to own, you can suggest a shop that will then be discussed by the Founders. (For example, if we have many restaurants or pubs on the forum, we might not accept another one.) If the Founders agree, then the shop will be added to the forum.
This means that, not only do you not have to purchase a shop, but also that you can suggest a shop without having a character of yours own it. The individual who suggested the shop has first claim on the position of Owner and/or Manager.
Shops will not be deleted except in one instance - if there's no activity on them (no threads started on the board) over an extended period, of at least 2 months. If that occurs, then the Founders will ask members to weigh in on whether they'd like the shop to stay or if they won't be using it.
