It was incredibly rare for Henna to be angry, she was a very easy going and gentle soul that very rarely got intensely furious about something. But this- this had hit far too close to home. Henna was absolutely fuming as she stormed her way into the Ravenclaw tower, clutching a copy of the Daily Prophet between one of her balled up fists. She passed a few first years who'd stopped their giggly chatter to stare at the Veela as she swore violently under her breath. She walked directly over to a table where a few housemates were sitting quietly and slammed the paper down onto the surface. Her eyes burned red, her delicate features contorted into a scowl as she hissed;
"The ministry has officially lost their fucking minds, have you seen this? This is blatant discrimination. I don't need to be tagged like a mongrel just because I'm a little different. How would she like it if muggles decides that all wizards were dangerous and decided we needed to be monitored? Have I done anything wrong? Have I ever been a danger to anyone?"
She spat out her rant, her knuckles white as she balled up her fist. Furious tears blotted her vision as she stared around the common room.
"Nobody's got anything to say about this?"
She stared down each person in the room, daring one of them to react.

The 13 year old boy sat quietly in his chair reading a book on quidditch tactics. Donald was paying especially close attention to the section on seekers. He wished to join the Ravenclaw team this year as a seeker and was determined to do all he could to ensure that he would get that position. The youngster felt that he was a confident enough flyer to achieve it and he knew that flying was something you just can’t learn from a book. But he was sure he had the skills and talent needed but anything that could give an extra edge.
His thoughts were interrupted by an older girl storming into the common room. The 3rd year didn’t really know her that well but was sure her name was Hannah or Henna or something like that. She seemed to be in a bad mood and it probably would not be a good idea to get her name wrong or, for that matter, talk to her. The Welsh wizard just gave her a slightly irritated look for disturbing him by storming in.
Donnie wondered what had gotten the young lady so worked up. The Ravenclaw boy soon got his answer when the girl started ranting about the Ministry. Don had read about the Ministry and their plans to register creatures for public safety. It seemed a bit concerning to the youngster if he was honest.
While he could understand the need to register werewolves for public safety the tests to see if a ghost, troll or hag can hold a work position was a bit odd. Wasn’t that up to the bosses to decided rather than the Government? He didn’t know. The youngster was also unsure about the Veela register too. Wasn’t it meant for their own safety?
The young lad bit his lip as he looked at the girl. His curiosity did want to fiond out why she was so irate over the idea. He supposed that if the Government wanted a register of Welsh people he would be pretty upset too. Donald looked at Henna when she asked if he had anything to say about this and looked at them daring them to react. The Welsh boy looked around the common room and saw a few of the first years seemed a bit scared.
What he did next he would never figure about if he was being very brave or very stupid but he let his curiosity get the better of him. He supposed that he was being a bit of a typical Ravenclaw in a way, either that or having an older sister made him a bit braver confronting angry older girls than he otherwise would have been.
”I know you are angry but you are upsetting some of the first years....” Donnie said not sounding entirely sure that he was doing the right thing in confronting her. Maybe she would hex him? The 13 year old kept his hand by his wand just in case he needed to react fast to try and defend himself. ”...but I am curious....isn’t this meant to be protecting us from Werewolves and keeping the Veelas safe?” he asked in a inquiring fashion.
