General Character and Play Information
- Veela are beautiful magical creatures with seductive powers.
- The seductive powers of a veela come from their appearance and their dance; they draw human males into doing strange things to get closer to the veela.
- They are classified as Beings by the Ministry.
- Full-blooded veela appear young and beautiful until angered - then, they grow birdlike in appearance, with beaks and wings, and the ability to shoot fire from their hands.
- Veela also possess their own type of magic with no need for a wand.
- Veela are able to crossbreed and produce half-breed offspring with humans - half-breed veela do not possess veela magic, only veela looks.
Site-Specific Rules
- Male veela exist, but do not possess the same seductive magic as female veela. They are still very beautiful and have other types of magic, still with no need for a wand.
- Half-breeds are allowed wands.
