General Character and Play Information
- House elves are small elfish creatures.
- They are classified as Beings by the Ministry.
- House elves are immensely loyal and subservient by nature. They must do everything their masters command or risk physically harming themselves.
- House elves serve families and occasionally, house elf agencies. A house elf is considered free when it receives a piece of clothing from its master.
- House elves have their own brand of very different, very powerful magic.
Site-Specific Rules
- Times are changing and with Hermione Granger in the Ministry, it is unlikely that all house elves are still forced into servitude. We will accept both employed and free elves.
- Human face claims are not acceptable for house elves.
