London - Natural History Museum. Actually taking place October 5th 2003 but there was no board for the museum Just 5 more days until the full moon, Graham could feel it in his bones. His body was aching and he couldn’t rest during the nights. However he would not let it show. Today was a special day. With the money he earned from his new job he would make a promise come true. He took Kalli to the London Natural History Museum where they could see real dinosaurs.Graham still believed they were the ancestors of dragons or even actual dragons. Mingling among the muggles was a bit of a task. Graham grew up in a pureblood family learning nothing about muggles. Kallie knew a little more but still not as much as a halfblood child would. He didn’t like these muggle clothes he was wearing, they made him feel like a complete different person. Which might actually be in their advantage right now. He tried hisbest to look like a normal muggle father. Except for the obvious scars on his face that would never go away he pulled it off pretty well. Not as well as Kallie however who seemed to be adorable in everything she wore.
He had to admit the building was impressively large and beautify. Much better than muggle’s modernbuilding style if one were to ask him. Upon entering he took a map with him just in case they would get lost. Kallie could decide what she wanted to see today. They found themselves in a big hall filled with people. Graham held his daughter’s hand and used the other to point at the skeleton of a dinosaur. “Look there he is,” he said with a smile to his daughter. “Come, let’s take a closer look.” The two wandered over so they could have a better view. Graham read the description next to the skeleton. “It says this was a plant eater. It used it’s long neck to reach the high leaves. Similar to a giraffe.”

Kallisto was all smiles that day. After a long time, she was seeing her father and out was not at home line usual. She was going with him to the museum whatever that meant. But what mattered to Kallie was that she was going out of the manor and with her father away from her mother. Her mother was throwing a fit for allowing the girl outside, but was not saying anything out loud. Katherine knew that a word was given and she can't back from it. So albeit reluctantly she allowed get daughter to go. Kallie was very much happy and excited for this.
She was dressed in a red color frock which she brought the last time she went to diagon alley with Ashley. She wanted her dad to see her in that dress and Kallie knew that he too would think that she was cute in it. Only her mother was grumbling about the odd taste in color. Kallie shrugged off and wore her hair in two pigtails and added red ribbons which stood out in her blonde hair. The father and daughter duo managed to blend in the muggle world which was nearly possible, except for Kallie's occasional mentions of dragons. Luckily no one took her seriously as she was still a kid in their eyes.
Kallie loved at her father as he pointed at the dino and they walked towards them. Her father held one of her hand, and she was using her other hand to wave enthusiastically as she was talking in her usual self "daddy, is the Dino dead? Did these people kill it? How did they kill it? It is soo big". As if emphasizing her point she lifted her hand to point at the top of the Dino's head. As her father spoke to her, she said " ooh does it mean that the dino only eats leaves? But how did it become soo big eating only the leaves?" As her father mentioned about giraffe, she piped up "ooh like this" as she stood on her toes and pulled out the map her daddy held and gave a giggle.
(OOC : I'm imagining my young cousin while writing this post. Do tell me if it is okay.)

Seeing Kallie being so carefree around him gave him hope. The fact that there was someone this pure and innocent in the world made him want to protect it at all costs. Kallie might get angry with her parents at a later age, when she found out the truth and that they’d been hiding it from her all the time. But Graham also hoped she’d understand. Even more he hoped that she could always remain young and innocent forever. He’d try his very best to keep it that way. She looked utterly adorable in her red dress with matching bows in her hair.
He had a little trouble keeping on a straight face and act like a normal muggle when his little girl started talking about dragons. Muggles may have their fairy tale dragons but Graham didn’t know enough about muggles to know what their version was.
The moment when Kallie saw the Dinosaur questions spilled out of her mouth. Graham couldn’t help but chuckle at her curiosity. For a moment it was just this moment, nothing else. No worries, no enemies, no nightmares. “The dinosaur is been dead for over a million of years, the sign says,” he started to explain as he tapped the tablet that was next to the skeleton. Information was on it and Graham tried to read it as fast as possible. “By the time it died, humans did not exist yet. It probably died of hunger or was eaten by other dinosaurs,” he explained hoping she’d follow what he said. Graham barely understood what the muggles meant by all this but it was fascinating, no way he could never think of muggles as fascinating.
“It got big because it ate it’s vegetables, just like how you will grow to be a big girl too if you eat yours,” he chuckled and ruffled her hair. “Hey!” Graham grinned when the map was snatched from his hands. “Ohh you little thief,” he chuckled as he wiggled his fingers and threatened to tiggle her. He did, but after a short time he went back to explaining. “Maaaanny maaanyy years ago there was a lot more space. There were no buildings and nothing stopping these creatures from growing.”

Ashley was running late. Some kind of plant emergency had come up, and she’d been forced to stay to deal with it. Normally that wouldn’t have bothered her. She loved her work at the hospital. But today she was supposed to meet Uncle Graham and Kallie at a museum. Aunt Catherine was allowing her daughter a rare outing, much to Ashley’s surprise. And the chance to spend an afternoon with them both sounded amazing.
Finally Ashley managed to get herself out of St. Mungo’s. She shrugged off her healer’s robes, stuffing them in a locker to grab later, and apparated to a safe place not far from the museum. Couldn’t have the Muggles seeing her actually appear there. Uncle Graham had mentioned dinosaurs, so Ashley wove her way through the various displays (some of which actually looked intriguing) in search of her uncle and cousin. She finally found them staring up at a rather impressive dinosaur skeleton. Ashley started to go towards them but stopped short. Kallie didn’t get to see Uncle Graham nearly enough. And the sight of them both here together was something truly beautiful to Ashley’s eyes. Kallie was laughing as Graham tickled her, and Ashley could feel a smile growing on her own face as she watched. This was the sort of life Kallie deserved. One with her father around and not a care in the world.
Finally Ashley shook herself out of it and headed over to the pair of them. “Hey, you two. Sorry I’m late. I got held up at work.” She stood on her tiptoes to kiss Uncle Graham’s cheek and gave Kallie a hug. Then she turned her attention to the dinosaur. Ashley whistled in amazement as she took in just how big it was. “He’s pretty impressive, isn’t he?”
