Character Applications - Feedback

Hi, all!
The Founders have been discussing our lovely Character Applications, whether we need to add anything, change anything or remove anything. Specifically, we'd like to take a look at the Personality section.
Everyone has different writing styles, and so that's why we thought we'd bring the question to you to see what your thoughts are!
Some prefer to have to list character traits or write out a paragraph to flesh out their character, and others find that not very helpful, that their character deviates from whatever they write. We'd like to find a compromise that makes everyone happy (and allows us to be able to Sort students)!
So, without further chatter: below are the middle three sections of our character app. (The top and bottom are nonnegotiable - we do need to know your character's name!)

PERSONALITY
POSITIVE TRAITS:At least five strengths, abilities, quirks, etc.
NEGATIVE TRAITS:At least five weaknesses, shortcomings, flaws, etc.
LIKES:Some things that your character likes - favourites, etc.
DISLIKES:Things your character dislikes/can't stand.
HOBBIES:What does your character like to do?
GENERAL PERSONALITY:Details about how and why your character acts. At least one good paragraph.
BIOGRAPHY
Parents:Names of parents
Siblings:Any siblings?
Partner:If applicable.
Children:If applicable.
Other Family:Anyone else you'd like to include.
Character History:Details on the life of your character, from birth to present day. Family history is not required, but it can be added. Please submit at least 2 good paragraphs.
MISCELLANY
Wand:Core, wood, other characteristics.
Former House:Former Hogwarts House or former schooling (e.g. Beauxbatons)
Affiliation:If applicable, what faction your character belongs to.
Amortentia:What are three things that your character would smell in the world's most powerful love potion, amortentia? And why?
Magical Abilities: If applicable, you would apply for a magical ability here. However, it must be reasonable and well thought out. Not every character will have a magical ability. Not all abilities will be accepted.
