The Dueling League Begins

Ollie should've known by now that scheduling things for after work was a bad idea, it practically beckoned dark wizards to give him a reason to hold over and miss the activity entirely. He'd written the parties interested in his dueling league twice to push back the date and time of their first meeting and begged their forgiveness. It was one of the poorer aspects of his job, as Ollie was someone who liked to be dependable and punctual. The meeting was finally happening, only a week past it's original intended start date. The Hit-Wizard even managed to show up an hour beforehand to get everything ready. The furniture was shoved to the corners of the room and a large mat was laid out in the center. It was just cushiony enough that a dueler shouldn't break their neck if they were blasted back by their opponents curse or hex. Key word is shouldn't, Ollie had still enlisted the help of a friend and Medi-Wizard Tristan McAlister to assist with any medical needs that would arise. Currently the blonde was staking out which corner he'd like to brood and lurk in.
He wasn't sure exactly what his intent with the club was, if he was looking to help people improve their skill in a post hogwarts setting or for people to flex their dueling muscles. He enjoyed friendly duels, himself. They likely wouldn't be doing much on the practical side of things tonight. He had to find out what the others were expecting, figure out their skill levels to fairly pair them up and most importantly, they needed a name. It should be an exciting evening, even without hurling spells and curses at each other.
He stood in the middle of the room, smiling gently as he surveyed his surroundings. Ollie was dressed for the occasion in his trade mark leather jacket, faded jeans and a soft but old ringer T-shirt emblazoned with the butterbeer logo. His hair was pulled back in the most fabulous of man buns and he was armed with a thermos of his favorite peppermint tea, charmed to keep his warm drink at the perfect temperature. It wouldn't be long before the others arrived and Ollie was ready.
