♥ INFORMATION
Though a quiet man with an insane amount of self-control, Kisuke is not someone you'd want to get on the wrong side with. Judging by his appearance he seems harmless enough, but he's no chivalrous knight nor someone who will extend a helping hand to those in need - he is fierce about keeping himself within the neutral territory, far away from unwanted troubles and responsibilities he has no wish to shoulder. Painfully aware of his own limitations and weakness, he has a realistic - and somewhat cynical - view of the world and people around him, believing that no one is truly selfless without a reason or agenda.
A family-oriented person that reflects his strong cultural roots, Kisuke is willing to go the extra mile only for the people he truly loved or cared about. Other than working together with his wife Yuko (former head of the Kisaragi House who is a powerful onmyoji), researching on ways to better incorporate Western magic into onmyodo and other Oriental magical arts, thus creating more versatility to spell-casting, he's also looking around to find a cure for his muggle brother Kira, who is paralyzed waist below, a guilt that continues to haunt him ever since the accident before his magical education.
♥ LOOKING FOR
- Friends/Acquaintances/Enemies: This is to lay down some groundwork to get him more involved in the site plots, due to his backstory.
- Drinking Friends: One can never have enough of such buddies, to sober about life and whatnot over alcohol. Or blame everything on the alcohol, of course.
- Healers: He's trying to find a way to heal his brother's legs. Since the muggle way isn't effective at all (in fact, they have pretty much given up on Kira), he has no choice but to find the magical way to allow his brother to be able to walk again...
- Mysterious Contact: Although this person is responsible for helping Kisuke's family to get out a few sticky situations (such as getting them to immigrate to UK away from his wife's clan, and also escaping from the Second Wizarding War that raged Britain when Voldemort was confirmed to have come back), his/her identity has remained unknown, and so Kisuke is trying to track down his family's savior. It seems like he wants to be able to thank this kindred spirit personally, but at the same time he's suspicious of this whole secretive deal, a liability he cannot ignore for the sake of protecting his family...

- Mali Johar: A Healer - or rather, spells specialist to be exact - he has the chance to meet through a (slightly) painful encounter, and of all places, a bookstore.
- Cassabelle Blackburn: Some young lady he has encountered when he gave her a helping hand on a whim (well, sort of) when the trolls terrorized Hogsmeade.

Helloooo  So I have a couple of ideas about my Theo Ashland. He's a Medi-Wizard, not a Healer, but more of like a wizard paramedic. Buuuuut, I was thinking, like we talked about a while ago - to get Kisuke involved in some site plots, maybe Theo could see him near the pharmacy after a spat of potions poisonings within the hosptial, and be all suspicious and call authorities on him and stuff? Bad things happened to Theo in the hospital a few months ago so I feel like he would be super suspicious of most everyone he doesn't recognize in there now. So we could play that out, I could also throw my Auror Ezra Wilder at Kisuke if you wanted to take it that far. And thennn...I was thinking Theo might feel really guilty when it turns out Kisuke wasn't doing anything. So maybe he tries to help him with his brother. Again he's not a Healer so maybe he's not successful, but it could be a bunch of fun angst for them both Apart from that, any of my characters could befriend Kisuke. They're all pretty nice people, if you wanna look at them and see if any of them would jive. Except for @keegan he's a crazy Death Eater and all around jerk. |

If Theo Ashland gets involved with helping he could always drag Mali Johar into it, since she drags him into enough stuff and IS a healer :-) Plus she knows Kisuke from the bookshop! |

Theo Ashland, Ezra Wilder: Yes, please! It's always fun to play the 'bad' guy, even if they aren't exactly... the real bad, lol. Anyway, I thought that Kisuke is perfect as a possible suspect because it's natural for him to seem like the most suspicious person around. Well, he's technically an outsider who has simply showed up at the worst possible time and place, heh. We need moar dramaaaaaa~ He would completely lose his cool if @keegan tries to touch a single hair of his precious family.As for the other characters, I think I've tried to get him to help Cassabelle Blackburn and the other characters with throwing pumpkins at the invading trolls in "The Halloween Festival" site plot. I can also see him getting along well with Meg Ashland due to them sharing many similarities in their personality, maybe even as drinking friends, who knows? Mali Johar: That reminds me to add her to Kisuke's, uh, acquaintance list. They've only just met, so it's a bit too soon to consider them as friends for now... Quoting from one of my all-time favorite manga series:Philosophy aside (yes I know I'm crazy over deep stuff like this - blame my unstoppable obsession for psychological fictions XD), they have lots of room for development to create other plots to complicate their relationship with each other - keeping in line with Kisuke's personality, initially he probably sees Mali merely as someone useful to help him get closer to his own agenda, but as they interact with each other more, he would start seeing her as more than just a connection to find a cure for his brother - he would finally start thinking of her as a worthy friend he's willing to put his trust in, because she has earned it! Also, the development in "Timber" so far looks great as a prologue of sorts to lead my character into the St. Mungo site plot. Am really looking forward to see how all these dark mysteries unfold around the site!

Hi! I have two offers of friendship, but as always you're welcome to poke around my other characters. The first ones that occurred to me, though, were Elias Lâu and Jon Ashland, because they're closest in age. Elias could even have run into Kisuke at some point in the past, as he did a lot of travelling at one point, particularly in China (that's where his family is from) so I feel like he probably went to visit Japan and other East Asian countries as well. Up to you on that! Otherwise, he's an intellectual, he's fabulous, he's loyal, he's great. His app is here, take a peek! The other one I have is Jon, who I'm trying to get into as I just made him recently. He's very easygoing and friendly, hardworking, kind, and could be an ear for Kisuke and/or help him out (he's a bartender and groundskeeper, so how he'd help him out is a mystery, but Jon will have your back). AppOtherwise, this evening I'll be poking around the site plot and doing update-y things, so hopefully that gives him some more to do! Let me know what your thoughts are |

Elias Lâu would greatly remind him of his own wife, quite a stargazer herself (astrology - not astronomy, both are different things! - is under the umbrella of divination, even in Eastern magical arts). Just that while Yuko is more like the no-nonsense McGonagall, Elias can serve as a good change of pace for him, heh. (Also, I dunno how things might go between them in conversations, but I can imagine a possible psychological battle between the two men if the content gets too close to home, each of them who has a mask on their face they absolutely have to keep it on.) Jon Ashland might create some amusing situations for Kisuke, largely because of their contrasting personality - Kisuke may find Jon's idealistic side difficult to deal with at times, but he'll eventually see the loyalty and be glad to have someone of an opposing type to himself, to add spice to his life that he's reluctant to admit. (And also, more drinking friends! Why not?)
