Pure-Blood Directory WIP

When making a pure-blood character, there is often a massive amount of family history to take into account. To ensure that the history remains canon to the site and to make it easier to make your application, you can find any information on Canon pureblood families below. In the following list will be the status of the family (extinct, no longer pureblooded, etc), along with other information such as notable members, and whether new original characters in that family will be accepted or not. In addition, each name will have a link to more detailed information on the family.
If you want to make a pureblood, this is the place to look first, as the number of non-canon purebloods will be limited (simply to keep the ratio realistic - not everyone is a pureblood!). The specific rules are that: out of your 15 character limit, only 5 of them may be Purebloods. Unfortunately, we are not accepting characters outside of the names listed. If you feel you should be an exception, please speak to a Founder. If a family is extinct, we will not be accepting new members with that name. Please read before applying!
In addition, please refer to this list before making a character's ancestor a member of those families. This will help avoid confusion.
