To her word, Mali was on Mister Lupin's door step just as the sun poked it's head over the horizon and rose into the sky. It might be terribly early for some but she was just as bright-eyed as any other hour of the day. It wasn't that she was a morning person, or a night person, she was just a person who was energetic from the moment she woke up 'til the moment she went back to sleep. The witch was armed with a basket full of various flavors of muffins, some a little burnt around the edges or flat around the top along with a charmed thermos full of coffee, magically maintaining the perfect temperature.
Mali wasn't alone, she was accompanied by BFF and co conspirator Eoin Cavanaugh, who was in charge of a fluffy blanket. She wasn't sure if Mister Lupin would actually need the blanket, but the morning was chilly enough that she could see her own breath and werewolf transformation just seemed like something that one would want to curl up in a warm blanket after. Their visit was out of both compassion and necessity. Eoin and Mali were Hufflepuffs, and as Hufflepuffs they had a need or desire to help others, to take care of them and shower them with love. With the Ministry stomping on rights and human decency, that impulse was stronger than ever. They'd put their brains together and thought of the best way to help. Eoin was a brilliant potioneer, he made the most wonderful brews and dazzling concotions and they would use his strength to help those in need. Mali was dreadful at potions, but she was a good assistant. She could chop things ( and only sometimes cut her finger ) and stir like a boss.
So, on their door step the duo stood, knocking with Mali's normal upbeat and musical knock. She shivered in the cold, wrapped in a warm pink jacket and her old school scarf. Hufflepuff yellow didn't go with pink but she loved the scarf and all the wonderful memories it carried with it and she wore it fairly often. While they waited for Mister Lupin to come to the door, Mali laid her head on Eoin's shoulder with a yawn, declaring "I'm very sleepy, but this is a good reason to be sleepy for. I hope he's alright." Her wand was tucked away in an inside pocket of her jacket but it was new and she wasn't as confident in her skills as a healer with an unfamiliar wand. If he managed to injure himself it would be good practice for when she went back to work, at any rate.
The door opened soon and Mali sprang into action, shifting her supplies and stepping forward to grab the man in a very ginger hug. Hugging was the cupcake way, after all. Eoin and Mali were all sugar and spice and everything nice. "Gooood morning! I'm so glad to see you!"
