((OOC: Sorry I was meant to post this yesterday but I was so busy I didn't have a chance to , hope you all don't mind)) Ophelia was nervous. Her leg shook, bouncing up and down as awaited her colleagues arrival. She was excited too, obviously, it'd been Merlin knows how long since she had a night out or a night to herself for that matter. She'd had to go shopping for new clothes, with nothing in her wardrobe even remotely suitable for a night on the town. It was nice, to have a shopping trip for herself. Whilst she adored her work and her children were nothing short of perfect in her eyes, she'd enjoyed acting her age for a little while. Ophelia was definitely not a normal 24 year old. She acted as if she was in her late thirties, not like she'd just gotten out of her teen years. She sat on the barstool, twiddling her hair and smoothing out her black dress anxiously. The response from her colleagues had been overwhelmingly positive, which was awesome, but that too just made her more nervous. If it was just her and Ashley or her and Mali, she could handle that. But she wan't sure how well she'd do with everyone being here. She'd made arrangements for everyone to meet in the Leaky Cauldron, figuring they could just go from there. She took a sip of her fire whiskey, letting it burn her throat and warm her stomach. She liked a good drink every now and then, fire whiskey was soemthing she had a lot with Sam. She shook her head, refusing to think about him. This was her night out with her friends. He was not going to take that away from her. As she heard the door open, she told herself to relax and gave her colleague a small smile. Ilyass had quite a discussion with himself whether to go or not to go. Seeing Lucien no longer worked at St. Mungo's and wouldn't be here to night, Ilyass simply didn't have the courage to go. Unlike his sister he wasn't the outgoing type. A part of him really wanted to go, even if he could never say so because he was too damn shy; he loved his colleagues. He'd love to get closer and become friends with them. But how did one do that? If he went to the Leaky what was he supposed to say or do? Ilyass was not good at these things and his confidence failed him. In the end he went, mostly because his sister found Ophelia's letter and pushed him to go. It'd be good for him to be social with people other than Lucien. Ilyass tended to hide behind his handsomer and cooler friend. He didn't mind being in Lucien's shadow if it meant having a friend. Lucien was nothing but kind to him. But he couldn't depend on his friend or his sister all his life. So here he was, shaking in his shoes. What was he afraid of? These were his colleges, he saw them every day. Perhaps that was why he was afraid; afraid to do something strange which made them think he was a weirdo that should be avoided. He entered the pub and saw nobody was there yet besides the host for tonight. Ilyass squeaked up when she greeted him. "Ah... H-hello," he smiled shyly as he tried to hide a part of his face in his hoodie. "H-how have y-you been?" His chocolate brown eyes were warm and kind. Looking at Ophelia he felt under dressed. She was wearing an elegant attire while he wore... Well what he usually wore. He hadn't even bothered to put in contacts and wore his glasses. Great he was already embarrassing himself and he wasn't even in for a minute yet. Ilyass

Ashley was sincerely looking forward to tonight. She really didn’t get out much between the hospital and Harpies practice and spending time with Kallie. Not that she necessarily wanted to get out. Many in society still took issue with her pureblood status, which meant going somewhere with a group of her pureblood peers was out. And aside from them and Cass, who did she really have? But tonight she was going out with some of the hospital staff. And the idea of having a drink and a night out with friends like the twenty-one-year-old she was sounded quite appealing. Ophelia was already at the Leaky Cauldron when Ashley arrived. So was Ilyass, oddly enough. He didn’t really seem like the going out type. But whatever. The more the merrier. Ashley headed over to them with a smile on her face. “Hey, guys. We ready to party?” She whistled appreciatively as she got a good look at what Ophelia was wearing. And the glass of fire whisky she held. “Wow. You clean up nice. You’re going to make the rest of us look bad.” She grinned teasingly before turning to flag down a passing bartender and order some fire whisky for herself. Ophelia had never really struck her as the fire whisky type. But hey, surprises could be a good thing. With her drink ordered, she slid into a seat and turned her attention back to her two colleagues. “So. Who all is coming to this thing? Not that you two aren’t pleasant enough company.” Ophelia was one of Ashley’s favorite colleagues, and Ilyass could be pretty entertaining too in his own way. But the more people there were, the more fun this would be. At least in theory. outfit

Eoin really needed this. Despite the fact that he could come and go from their little flat, Mali being under house arrest was a little bit wearing, particularly when she was in a less understanding mood. She'd practically begged for him to stay, and Eoin had felt terrible going - but he'd promised Ophelia, who was sweetness incarnate and did not deserve to be stood up - and, though he didn't want to admit it, he needed a nice time out with friends, free from the concerns of Tristan, Mali or the wizarding world collapsing around their ears.
As such, he'd pulled on a nice aqua sweater over a dress shirt, some black jeans and boots with a bit of a heel (any height was good height) and fled, telling Mali that he'd be back very soon and apologizing a lot to the owners of the salon downstairs. The guilt in his stomach wasn't obvious on his face (excepting his dark circles) as he approached the Leaky, spotting Ophelia at the bar with another female Healer. "Hello, hello!" he said cheerfully, weaving around other pubgoers and ending up between the two. "You two look lovely." He wiggled his teal-painted nails at the bartender, who slid an amaretto sour down the bar to him, and took up the glass, feeling a bit relieved to have it in hand.

Tristan wasn't known for his open and overly social nature. He generally preferred to stick around a select few people that he felt familiar and safe with and wasn't particularly fond of hanging out with people just because they happened to be employed at the same place but with Theo gone and Eoin not speaking to him (or was it the other way around? Love and blood pride was a little confusing) and Meri at Quidditch practice he was left with absolutely nothing better to do. Normally that still wouldn't have been enough motivation to drag him out to the same pub for a communal drink but there was the slight chance that he and Eoin would reconcile if only they spent a few moments in eachother's company. He could explain that his use of the term 'mudblood' was a mistake, a little slip of the tongue.
The long Medi-Wizard stalking into The Leaky Cauldron. He was underdressed by comparison, sticking to jeans and a plain black t-shirt that was just tight enough to show off his muscled physique. His non outfit was complimented by his signature backwards hat and his hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans. It was a little strange not to see everyone decked out in acid green, to see them as real people as opposed to fluttery Healers hurrying from one patient to the next as quickly as possible.
Tristan moseyed on over to the bar before joining the group, pregaming he called it. He was going to need it, definitely after seeing Eoin standing among the other two. The shorter man had a maddening sort of power over him, made him feel funny and fluttery in his stomach along with a sudden strange affinity for the color aqua. It had been weeks since the incident in question but the hurt on Eoin's face as the word slipped from his lips was etched across his heart as a painful reminder of what his temper was capable of destroying. When the buzz of firewhiskey was enough to take the sharp edge off of that reminder, Tristan picked himself up off the barstool and headed off to join the rest of the St. Mungo's crew.
When he reached them he stood a little stiffly, hands re-stuffing back into his pockets and shoulders stooping. "Hey." the tall blonde said with a bob of his head, taking great care not to look at Eoin directly but to steal little looks out of his peripheral vision. "So, anyone else planning on showing up?"
